Kei Khmer was very pleased to join the workshop with the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts on behalf of Cambodia to share the natural dye of Cambodia to the ASEAN members. We also learned more about the different colors of ASEAN members.
The workshop was held from 7 to 11 November 2022 in Bali, Indonesia. On the evening of the arrival of all countries, the hosts had a welcome and fresh dinner at The ANVAYA Beach Resort.
This program provided a workshop on dyeing natural dye on raw yarn for all participants to try and found out all about natural colors. A presentation on the natural colors of ASEAN countries spent a full morning and a two-day workshop hosted by the Indonesia for participants to study and experiment with natural colors on raw yarn.
After the workshop, the host guided the members to visit one weaving project and the UNESCO-listed sites of rice fields on the slopes.
In the evening, there was a closing party of a workshop with a traditional Indonesian dance.
This was a great program to share and found out each country's culture on natural colors on the textile industry of ASEAN members.
