IKN-1902001 Phoenix pattern is made to show the high skilled design of master weaver. It showed the beautiful colors of natural dyeing. Kei Khmer participates to promote natural dyeing and traditional complex designs of ikat cloth.

Weaver used tree bark of Prohout tree to get yellow. She chopped the bark to small piece and boiled it to get the color. After boiling, she filtered it to get dyeing water and boiled cotton yarn to get yellow. The below images showed the dyeing process.
